Family Dog Services Spring Scurry 2024
The Annual Family Dog Services Spring Scurry.
This event is open to current Family Dog Services gundog clients only.
Your dog should readily want to retrieve for you and have a good recall. Any other control that you have over your dog at distance maybe useful but the events are created so that being an advanced level dog or handler is not necessary to enjoy the event. Not suitable for dogs under 1 year (as there will be some jumping) or those that require a training line.
There are only 20 spaces for this scurry event
We plan to run 3 scurries for everyone and then there will be time for you to bring along and enjoy a pack lunch/picnic. After your picnic we will resume with a further 3 scurries before announcing winners.
There will be prizes for each scurry along with an overall 1st, 2nd, 3rd.
Refreshments will be provided at awards time.

10:30 - 10:45am arrival ready for 11am start
This is a fun event, the judges decisions will be final. If you need the rules of a scurry to be repeated then you may find that they change as you are clearly taking it far too seriously!
As with all of our group events, dogs (and people) attending must be good around other dogs and people (no aggression)
